Percel “Johnny” Robinson, 67, of Flora, passed away at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018 at the Flora Rehab and Health Care Center in Flora.
Visitation was held Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018 at the Pagel Funeral Home in Edgewood from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Military rites were observed. Memorials may be made to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses or donor’s choice. Condolences may be expressed at www.pagelfuneralhome.com
Johnny was born on Aug. 31, 1950, in Mattoon to Don C. Robinson and Elsie J. (Yingst) Robinson. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Johnny loved the outdoors, fishing, mushroom hunting, and giving people heck.
He is survived by one daughter, Cliffia Dial of Louisville; three grandchildren, Kristin (fiancé Mike Butts) of Iola, Rolin Rutledge (companion Riley Partin) of Louisville, Dillan Harra (companion Alli Roberts) of Louisville; three great grandchildren, Madilynn Harra, Braelynn Harra, Brynlee Harra, and baby girl Harra on the way; his seven sisters, Pearl Tolliver of Louisville, Phyllis Ort of Flora, Pam Nichols (husband Gene) of Flora, Paula Dulaney of Haubstadt, Ind., Patsy Thompson (husband Terry) of Stockton, Iowa, Phebe Robinson (husband Russell) of Flora, and Penny Robinson of Flora; two brothers, Pete Robinson of Flora, and Perry Robinson of Farina; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Elsie Robinson, one brother Phillip Robinson, and an ex-wife, Shelbie Steinkamp.
