Brownstown seniors bid adieu to BHS

Led by co-valedictorians Chloe Carson and Jacob Bloemker and salutatorian Melissa Wiley, the Brownstown High School Class of 2017 donned their caps and gowns and accepted their diplomas before a crowd of family and friends on Saturday, May 13.

Several scholarships were handed out:

The Kassy Fulk Memorial Scholarship – Elissa Baron; Charlie Finfrock Scholarship – Kayla Haslett; Edward J. Durbin Memorial Scholarships – Colton Payne, two- or four-year college award, Joshua Rolfingsmeier, vocational winner; Sandra K. Stine PE/Health Scholarship – Brittany Siebert; St. Elmo-Brownstown FFA Alumni Scholarship – Brandy Howard

The processional “Pomp and Circumstance” and recessional “Hornpipe” was provided by Kendra Houghtaling and Joel Bloemker.
